Martha Curiel is an artist/ sculptor that pictures the human body on wonderful creations. She has several sculpture collections, including its most iconic `musician collection´. She is a passionate artist that loves to express her creativity and feelings throughout her art.

About the artist (Acerca de la artista)
Martha Curiel has several studies in sculpturing, painting, and sketching. She currently lives in Los Cabos and has displayed her work in several art galleries and exhibitions. Her first and most iconic sculpture collection titled `the musicians´ and it is inspired in her love for music and the human body. She loves to incorporate both reality and her imagination.
Martha Curiel tiene diversos estudios en escultura, pintura y dibujo. Actualmente vive en Los Cabos y ha presentado su trabajo en diversas galerías de arte y exhibiciones. Su primera y más icónica colección de esculturas se titula `los músicos´ y está inspirada por su amor a la música y al cuerpo humano. Le encanta incorporar la realidad y la imaginación en sus creaciones.

`The musicians´
As we mentioned before, this collection is Martha's most iconic creation. It was inspired by her love for music. The pieces that compose this set are: "el director", "el arpa", "el pianista", "el saxo", "el tambor", "la flauta", and "la guitarra".

`The Acrobats´
A collection inspired by the movement and the beauty of the body. `The Acrobats´ is the second collection of the artist, and it includes 3 different sculptures with one thing in common, a ring. The artist played with the ring to achieve different types of movement. This collection is very detailed to capture the true movement of the body when performing different acrobatics. The pieces that compose this set are: "chica del columpio", "dando el paso", "el trapecista", and "subiendo el aro".
`Los Acróbatas´
Una colección inspirada por el movimiento y la belleza del cuerpo. `Los Acróbatas´ es la segunda colección de la artista, e incluye 3 diferentes esculturas con una cosa en común, un aro. La artista jugó con el aro para obtener distintos tipos de movimiento. Esta colección está muy detallada para capturar el verdadero movimiento del cuerpo al practicar distintas acrobacias. Las piezas que componen este conjunto son: "chica del columpio", "dando el paso", "el trapecista", y "subiendo el aro".
`The Angels´
This is the newest collection of the artist. It was inspired by the divinity and perfection of angels, the majestic creatures that supposedly look after us. These pieces are very detailed and also capture the physical perfection of the body. The pieces that compose this set are: "el ángel", "ángel bajando",and "trascender".
`Los Ángeles´
Esta es la colección mas nueva de la artista. Está inspirada en la divinidad y la perfección de los ángeles, las criaturas majestuosas que supuestamente cuidan de nosotros. Estas piezas están muy detalladas y también capturan la perfección física del cuerpo. Las piezas que componen este conjunto son: "el ángel", "ángel bajando" y "trascender".
The artist has created three solo sculptures that are inspired by her feelings, imagination and appreciation of the human body.
La artista ha creado tres esculturas individuales que fueron inspiradas por sus sentimientos, imaginación y por su apreciación del cuerpo humano.
`Pensando en ti´
Translated as "thinking about you", this piece is truly unique. It is a very detailed sculpture that has present symbolisms: the floating body represents that the woman is deeply lost in her thoughts because she can't stop thinking of her significant other. While the face on her foot represents her significant other always being `present´ in her heart.

Esta pieza es verdaderamente única. Es una escultura muy detallada que tiene simbolismos presentes: el cuerpo flotante representa a la mujer que está perdida en sus pensamientos porque no puede parar de pensar en su pareja. Mientras que la cara en su pie representa que su pareja siempre está `presente´ en su corazón.
`Desnuda´
Translated as "naked", this piece represents the raw beauty of the body women, it also represents the delicacy and pureness of them. This piece is simple yet powerful just as a woman's body. The body is very detailed as the rest of the sculptures, something representative of the artist.

Esta pieza representa la belleza en bruto del cuerpo de las mujeres, también representa su delicadeza y pureza. Esta pieza es simple y a la vez muy poderosa justo como el cuerpo de una mujer. El cuerpo está muy detallado al igual que el resto de las esculturas, algo representativo de la artista.
`La Belleza y la Fealdad´
Translated as "the beauty and the ugly". This sculpture does not only represent the physical beauty and ugly, it also represents the good and evil of the world. This piece with a few changes of technique between one face to the other can represent totally opposite things. The "beauty" has more delicate features, it is smooth, and it is made out of a lighter tone. In the other hand the "ugly" has more rough features, it is not smooth, and it is made out of a darker tone.
`La Belleza y la Fealdad´
Esta escultura no sólo representa la belleza y la fealdad física, también representa el bien y el mal del mundo. Esta pieza con algunos cambios de técnica entre una cara y la otra puede representar cosas totalmente opuestas. La "belleza" tiene facciones más delicadas, se ve lisa y está hecha de un color claro. Por otra parte, la fealdad tiene facciones más toscas, no es lisa y esta hecha de un color más obscuro.
