Leonora got interested in art at a really young age. She started painting in kindergarten and her passion and love for art never stopped growing. Before becoming a professional oil painter she became a famous make up artist in New York City, where she met and worked with several celebrities. Many people will remember working with celebrities as their most important moment but she didn't. Her favorite memory of her make up days was working with women with disfigured faces to rise their self esteem. This can transmit what kind of person she really is.
Leonora se interesó por el arte a una edad muy temprana. Empezó a pintar en el kinder y su pasión y amor por el arte nunca dejó de crecer. Antes de convertirse en una pintora al óleo se convirtió en una maquilladora profesional en la ciudad de Nueva York, donde conoció a diversas celebridades. Muchas personas recordarían en trabajar con celebridades como su momento más importante pero ella no. Su recuerdo favorito como maquillista fue trabajar con mujeres que tenían el rostro desfigurado para subirles su auto estima. Esto transmite el tipo de persona que realmente es.
Her favorite subject to paint about are people, but specially women and children. She sees something unique in them. She likes to meet all of her clients before making their portraits. Why? Because she loves to capture their true essence and their personalities. She thinks that the part of the body that transmits most of a person is the eyes. Many people say that eyes are the windows to the soul and that a simple look can express more than a thousand words.
Su tema favorito para pintar son las personas, especialmente las mujeres y los niños. Ve algo único en ellos. Le gusta conocer a todos sus clientes antes de hacer sus retratos. Por qué? Porque ama capturar la verdadera esencia y personalidad de sus clientes. Piensa que la parte del cuerpo que transmite más de una persona son los ojos. What we love the most of this piece is the look of excitement of the girl. It is so detailed that you can clearly see that she is super excited and happy. The horse is very impressive, it looks like a photograph of an actual horse.
